AI policy & data centers

I am a research fellow at the Foundation for American Innovation (FAI), where I work on policy for frontier AI. Historically, my work has focused on AI infrastructure, including data centers (a.k.a. "AI factories") and the electric grid. I have written and testified on the buildout of AI factories as well as behind-the-meter generation.

I started Policy Gradients, a Substack about data centers and AI policy; it has since grown into an official publication of FAI, where I continue to write. Previously, I did a stint in data science research and worked for a turbine startup, where I designed computational fluid dynamics experiments.

I did my M.A. in Statistics and Data Science and my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Math. Prior to that, my main interest was classical flute performance.
